MACHINERY FOR ENERGY DOG AND ENERGY DOG
The present invention relates to a collector for an energy wood grapple, which collector comprises two collector members. The invention also relates to an energy wood grapple.
At its simplest, the energy wood grapple has a pivoting grapple that presses the energy wood against the cutting blade. This allows the energy tree to be cut off. Truncated energy trees can also be handled, practically moved into heaps or loaded with 10 grabs. The energy wood grapple can also be equipped with a bulk manifold, so that when the grapple is opened, the energy trees remain under control and the energy wood grapple can be moved to the next tree for cutting.
Known collectors have two pivotable collector members for pressing energy trees against an energy grapple. Further, to release the grip, the collecting member is articulated, whereby the collecting member avoids the energy trees held by the energy grapple.
Collecting members are protruding structures and are susceptible to breakage. In addition, the collector's movement range is wide, slowing down the mass collection. In particular, the small diameter ener25 trees remain poorly in the grip of the collecting members.
It is an object of the invention to provide a new type of collector for an energy tree grapple, which holds the energy trees even better and which requires less Ti30a than before. Another object of the invention is to provide a new kind of energy wood grapple which is more versatile and faster to use. Similarly, the features of the energy grapple according to the invention are set forth in the appended claim 14. In the inventive mass collector, the structure and movement of the collector members are implemented in a novel and surprising manner. Thus, the design of the bulk collector is compact and durable. In addition, trees of different sizes 5 remain well controlled. Especially at the end of the work, the operation of the collector bodies becomes more efficient, leaving even small trees in control.
The invention will now be described in detail with reference to the drawings illustrating an embodiment of the invention in which:

The invention relates to a collector for an energy wood grapple. Fig. 1 shows an energy wood grapple to which the collector 10 is fitted. The energy wood grapple itself is attached to the boom of a working machine, such as a backhoe or forestry machine. Figures 2a and 2b show a mere mass collector. The energy wood grapple comprises a body 11 with pivotably mounted clamping means 12. Here, clamping means 12 consist of two pairs of clamps
13, whereby energy trees, later simpler, are pressed against the frame 11. In addition to the collector 10, the energy wood grapple includes cutting means 14. In the embodiment shown, the cutting means consist of a shaped steel 5 15 fitted to the lower part of the frame 11. When using a pair of clamps, the trees are pressed against the blade while cutting off. Broken trees slide over the blade against the trunk. In this case, the trees are taken over by the mass collector, whereby the pairs of pliers can be opened again and moved to the following trees by the energy grapple.
When you open both the pair of pliers and the stack, the trees are removed from the energy tree grapple.

Figures 3a to 4b show a top view of a mere bundle. In general, the collector comprises two picking members 16. In the invention, the collector members 16 are arranged in a linear motion 17 opposite to each other, in other words, the collector members move in a linear manner, which speeds up the collector members and reduces the space requirement of the collector.
The collector 10 includes a frame structure 18 having a linear guide 19 and a carriage 20 arranged on a linear guide 19 to which the collecting member 16 is fitted. In this case, the collector body is more steadily supported. However, the collecting body itself is sensitive. In addition, the linear guide and the carriage are housed within a box-like frame structure. In this case, the collector is compact and self-supporting. In addition, the linear guide and the carriage are protected inside the frame structure.
In the embodiment shown, each pickup member has its own linear guide. Thus, the mass collector 10 comprises two linear guides 19 which are superimposed on the same line. In this case, the mass collector requires a little ti4 la in the depth direction. At the same time, the carriage 20 is supported on both linear guides
19, which aids the movement of the carriage.
20185572 prh 26 -06- 2018
In the embodiment shown, the linear guides 19 common to the carriages 20 consist of two rods 21 which are supported at their ends and center to the frame structure 18. Thus, the movement of one carriage is about half the length of the linear guide 19, more specifically 35-50% of the length The carriage 20 has a base plate 22 with a collecting member 16 attached to the front 10. Behind the base plate 22 there are two sleeves 23 which are fitted to the rods 21. In the open position of the hopper, the base plates extend partially outside the frame structure (Fig. 3a).
The picking member is operated via a carriage. Thus, an actuator 24 is arranged between the frame structure 18 and the carriage 20. At the same time, new features can be incorporated into the pick-up member and the carriage reduces the stresses on the actuator. Here the actuator is a double acting hydraulic cylinder. The Hol20 cat is a bracket for attaching the actuator (Figure 4c).
Preferably, the working directions of the actuators 24 of the carriages 20 are arranged opposite to each other. This allows the actuators to fit inside the outer dimensions of the frame structure behind the frame structure, whereby the actuators are well protected and the bulk manifold is compact.
In the embodiment shown, the picking member 16 is a one-piece nail 25 articulated in a carriage 20. The one-piece nail is sensitive to movement and durable. In addition, the nail can be strongly supported between the KK lugs on the base plate. In addition, the nail 25 has loading means 26, such as a spring, to force the nail 25 into the open position. In this case, the trees are clamped between the nails and the trunk by simple and rapid linear movement. The spring is shown in Figure 4c. The spring loaded nails will retract and pop out again as the bulk container is opened.
Particularly for small trees, there is a special solution in the bulk collector. At the opposite end of the pivot point 27 of the nail 25, there is a cam 28, the corresponding guide 29 of which is in the frame structure 18 for turning the nail 25 to the closed position at the end of the stroke. In the embodiment shown, the guide consists of a shaped surface 10 of the guide 10 which increases the steering effect. This is particularly evident from Figures 3b, 4a and 4b. In Fig. 3b, the cam 28 has just reached the fixed guide 29. As the carriages continue to move, the action of the guide continues to increase (Fig. 4a) and the nails are turning more and more rapidly. Thus, at the very end of the stroke, the mechanical guide 15 forces the nails tight against the frame structure (Fig. 4b). In this case, even small trees in the PU will certainly remain under control.
20185572 prh 26 -06- 2018
When released from the guide, the nail returns to the open position by the force of the return spring. This will open the collector quickly. The nail is also concave, which facilitates the removal of trees between the nails. Further, the nail 25 is thinned at the end. This lightens the nail and at the same time allows gentle elasticity of the nail head, which keeps small trees firmly in place. Larger trees correspond to the wider base of the nail (Figure 3b). The new design also makes it easy to replace nails. Thus, maintenance is quick or the features of the collector can be adjusted by changing the nails.
Preferably, the bulk collector includes mounting brackets 30 for attaching to the ener30 giard grapple. In this case, the manifold can also be retrofitted to existing energy tree trunks and, if necessary, to other trunks. In addition, the collector can be removed if it is not needed. In the embodiment shown, the fastening stops are holes 31 in the frame structure, from which the mass collector can be bolted to an energy wood grapple. The fastening stops may also be, for example, lugs which are suitably located. However, the manifold is rigid and self-supporting, allowing a few attachment points. Damage to the trees 5 decreases with fewer treatments as the trees remain in the bulk collector. In addition, the efficiency of wood harvesting improved significantly. Depending on the measurement method, the efficiency improved by up to 30%.
